HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED THERAPY?
There may have been a time when therapy may have been suggested by a loved one during a difficult time in your life. There are many misconceptions about "going to therapy" or "seeing a therapist." Therapy is a resource. There are no requirements for therapy, although more often than not it is not your choice. If you are reading this, you may be asking if this is the right choice for you. Allow me to help you and we can figure this out together. ​
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
I can't wait to meet you! I understand that meeting with a new therapist can be a scary and vulnerable experience which is why I offer a FREE 10-15 minute consultation. Fill out the contact form here. If you decide to continue counseling/psychotherapy with me, you will receive an email directing you to my client portal to begin filling out new client paperwork. There you can complete your new client intake forms and assessments where you tell me more about what you are looking to work on in therapy.

WHAT IS YOUR AVAILABILITY?
I offer sessions Monday-Friday via HIPAA compliant secure telehealth video. Due to COVID-19 safety concerns, my practice is 100% virtual at this time. I have openings and currently accepting new clients.
DO YOU TAKE HEALTH INSURANCE?
I am an out-of-network provider and happy to prepare a detailed monthly billing statement (also called a "super bill")Â which you can submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. You may be able to get a significant portion of the session fee reimbursed through this process if you have out-of-network benefits. Please be sure to contact your insurance company for the most accurate information on your exact coverage.
HOW MUCH DOES THERAPY COST?
The initial session cost is $175 for a 75 minute session. Ongoing sessions are $140 for 50 minute individual sessions. Session payments are due at the time of service. While therapy is indeed costly, it is also a worthy and lasting investment in yourself. If my fee is a barrier, please let me know prior to our first session, or in our first conversation.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?
I understand the unexpected happens aka "life" which is why there is no cost if you cancel at least 24 hours or more in advance. If you need to cancel less than 24 hours before your session, there is a $75 cancellation fee. Everyone's first cancellation fee is waived (on me). You only get one.
HOW LONG WILL THERAPY LAST?
This is a tricky question to answer due to the complexity of each person's individual needs. Each person’s time invested in therapy will be different. Some choose sessions on a weekly basis, while others may decide to come in every other week, or monthly. Some stay in therapy for years, while others seek more short term care (12-18 weeks). We will work together to best plan what your goals for therapy will look like, while providing you room for flexibility.
